Nazim Mammadov Tagi oglu
Nazim Mammadov Tagi oglu is an Azerbaijani artist born in 1973 in the Ujar district of Azerbaijan. In 1991 he graduated from Art Lyceum No. 12 in Baku and later continued his studies at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Painting, graduating in 2005. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan State Museum of Theatre named after Jafar Jabbarli. Since 1994 he has regularly participated in national and international exhibitions as well as international art symposiums. His works are held in museum and private collections in several countries. In 2019 he was awarded the Leonardo da Vinci Medal presented with the support of the United Nations.
