Toprak

The story unfolds against the backdrop of the forced relocation of the Ahıska Turks in 1944 from the Georgian SSR to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. It was primarily women, children, and the elderly who were deported, as everyone capable of bearing arms had been conscripted into the army. Many never even reached their destination, suffering agonizing deaths along the way. My character serves as the focal point around which the chaos and drama of these events revolve. There are many more works ahead that I will dedicate to my people; they have earned this through their endurance.
