Gunduz Habibov is an Azerbaijani artist born on 9 February 1973 in the Mashtaga settlement of Baku. From 1989 to 1993 he studied at the Azim Azimzade Art College in Baku, receiving his professional art education. Between 1993 and 1997 he continued his studies at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Habibov has participated in numerous exhibitions and art projects in Azerbaijan and abroad. Some of his works are permanently exhibited at the Vagif Mustafazadeh House-Museum in Baku. In 2011 he received the First Prize at the exhibition dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy organized by the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.
