In the moonlight

This work was inspired by a moonlit evening. The painting depicts a spring lake at night, illuminated by moonlight. The quiet lake is located in the center of a forest and surrounded by trees on all sides. The moonlight falls directy onto the lake,emphasizing the atmosphere of a spring night and enhancing the expressiveness of the composition,adding light,radiance,and splendor.

Fatma Imanova is an Azerbaijani artist born in 1993 in Baku. In 2011 she graduated from the Art College under the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts with a specialization in decorative and applied arts (carpet painting). In 2015 she graduated from the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in fine arts (contemporary painting). She has participated in numerous international and local exhibitions in Germany, Turkey, Egypt, Italy and Ukraine. She is a laureate of several art competitions and received a special presidential scholarship from the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan in 2021. Since 2023 she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. Currently she works as an artist and art teacher.
