Zaur Mirzayev Zakir oglu is an Azerbaijani artist and educator born on 7 July 1973 in the city of Shusha. From 1988 to 1992 he studied at the Azim Azimzade Azerbaijan State Art Technical School specializing in teaching drawing and painting. Between 1993 and 1997 he continued his studies at the Faculty of Painting of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Culture and Arts named after A. Huseynzade. After the occupation of Shusha he worked as a teacher at Secondary School No. 1 of Shusha operating in Baku. From 1999 to 2004 he taught at Secondary School No. 258 in the Narimanov district of Baku. From 2009 to 2017 he worked as a teacher at the Shusha Humanitarian College. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and participates in various exhibitions and cultural projects.
