About the artist

Nazrin Mammadova is an Azerbaijani artist. She was born in 1994 in Baku. From 2012 to 2016, she studied at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Painting, specializing in easel painting (bachelor's degree), and from 2016 to 2018 she completed her master's degree in cinema and theater painting. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. Since 2017, she has been engaged in teaching activities in the field of art. In her artistic practice, she works with painting, graphics, collage, and applique, experimenting with fabrics and various materials. Since 2017, she has been actively creating works using collage, applique, and colored paper. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including “Axın” (2020), “Gənclər” (2022), “My seas, my oceans” (Geneva, 2022), “Sənətdə qırmızı” (2024), “Tablolarda nağıllar” (2024), and the “Art weekend” project (2025). In 2025, she held her first solo exhibition titled “İpək Yolu”.
