Nazim Shahverdiyev (Nazim Shah) is an Azerbaijani artist and poet born in 1974 in the Fuzuli region. In 1993 he graduated from the Azim Azimzade Art School, Faculty of Artistic Design, and in 1997 from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Department of Painting. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union. He works in mixed media on paper (ink, acrylic, etc.). Since 1997 he has actively participated in national and international exhibitions and held solo exhibitions in Azerbaijan and abroad. His works are held in private collections in Turkey, the USA, Iran, Belgium, Russia, France, and Vietnam.
